About

The reason for creating this blog is I would love to write and communicate better.
Running has been my passion since 2008. I have written several race recaps here. I plan to post about other subjects and fiction as well!
I am happy to share that this year I ran a BQ (Boston Qualifying time) and my registration has been accepted for the prestigious Boston Marathon 2015. I am stoked for achieving my marathon nirvana after years of training.

I studied Mechanical Engineering from IIT Delhi 1979-84 and worked in the automobile industry till 1995, there after I was a freelance Application developer (Excel VBA, SQL Server, Sybase, MS Access, MS Office) and now I am in the Financial Services industry.

I have broad experience in Finance, Automobiles, Municipalities, Non-Profit and Development projects in USA and India. On the long term, I am interested to work in the Kumaon Himalayas. To enhance the condition of the Himalayan people in all aspects of their lives: the economy, education, health, arts, environment, and the community at large.

I am Organizer of Jersey City Runners; volunteer as an ESL tutor in Jersey City Library Literacy Program; secretary of The Himalayan Organization for People and Environment (HOPE); mentored in Big Brothers, Big Sisters; participate in Community Teamworks
